Object Relations - a silent drawing workshop

Experiencing elective silence is an act that can heighten awareness – illuminating our worlds, patterns, and thoughts.

For this February’s Illumination, studio artist Clio Lloyd-Jacob invites you to share an hour of silence, in a small, supported drawing workshop.

Participants are invited to each bring a portable object.

Each object will contribute to a temporary group arrangement within the workshop space.

After a few minutes at the beginning of the workshop set aside for ideas-sharing and arrangement of the objects, participants will spend a silent hour working independently on their drawings.

The workshop will then conclude with refreshments, display and discussion.

All materials provided, but participants are free to bring their own if they have specific preferences.
