** CHILI COOKOFF ~ DESSERT CHALLENGE ~ KIDS COLORING CONTEST ~ 50/50 RAFFLE ~ DJ **
Get your crock pots, chili recipes and costumes ready — put the Old Brooklyn Families Group Chili Cookoff in your Halloween weekend plans! We'll be hosting this FREE community event at the Mary Queen of Peace Parish Center on Pearl Road. Attendees will vote for their favorite batches and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
In addition, children are invited to participate in the Kids Dessert Challenge. Voting will take place and winners will be awarded same as the Chili Cookoff. Parents may help the little ones, but the dessert should be decided on and prepared by the child(ren).
Not interested in competing but want to eat all the goodies and vote for your favorites? No problem! Just bring a small appetizer or snack to share. Beverages will be provided.
There will also be a 50/50 Raffle, Coloring Contest for kids ages 3-10 and a DJ spinning some tunes!
RSVP by October 22nd with how many people you'll be bringing and if you plan to bring chili and/or dessert. Look forward to seeing you all there!
