Description
The Ohio Afterschool Network is a statewide network of nearly 1,000 professionals, parents, stakeholders and partners working to assure that Ohio children and youth have access to high quality programs to help them succeed in and out of school for lifetime success. OAN achieves this vision by advocating, creating strategic alliances, and by supporting the development of quality, comprehensive programming, especially for at-risk students.
OAN Quarterly meetings provide opportunities for policy updates, advocacy, professional development and networking.
The agenda is scheduled to include:
- Welcome
- Update on Network Projects, including committee updates
- Remarks from the Ohio Department Of Education
- Lunch and networking opportunity
- Opportunity to connect with the Advocacy, Quality Programs & Quality Staff, Communications and STEM Committees during afternoon committee meetings
