Dongzhi Festival, also known as the Winter Solstice Festival, celebrates the season's transition from winter to spring. It's a time to gather with family and friends in the middle of winter! Come join one of the best events with hundreds of food, arts&crafts and music to celebrate the longest night of the year with NO TICKET FEE!

As a part of the Oakland Rejuvenation Plan, Oakland Chinatown Improvement Council (OCIC) is celebrating the traditional Dongzhi Winter Festival with everyone at the Oakland Chinatown from December 3rd to 4th this year!

The weekend will be filled with full-day stage performances, street foods, and arts&crafts vendors. Anna May Wong Quarter, the first Asian American to appear on a US coin, limited giveaway first come first served! Free traditional dessert Tangyuan (sweet rice balls) giveaway at the event too! From vision to taste, you won't want to miss it!
