Event description

Description

Breakthrough Communities and the Brotherhood of Elders Network invite you to the long-awaited book launch for living legend Carl Anthony - THE EARTH, THE CITY AND THE HIDDEN NARRATIVE OF RACE, in a gathering that is a CALL TO ACTION for community mobilization around climate and racial justice.

This urgent and timely book (forewords by Van Jones and Dr. Paloma Pavel) is a portal to all who seek to regenerate their community's health through multiracial organizing for regional equity. It is a culmination of a lifetime of work, fighting on behalf of communities of color to achieve equitable resolution and accountability in the environmental justice movement. The ALL-IN LEARNING ACTION GUIDES accompanying the text provide tools and resources to educate community members on how to build transformative leadership for community power. Come join local electeds, community leaders, activists, and artists who are igniting a new narrative for our emerging future.
