About this event

Famous for its rare oak savannas and prairies, this Toledo area Metropark is a mecca for specialty breeding birds. Species often seen include Lark Sparrow, Dickcissel, Blue Grosbeak, Summer Tanager, Eastern Whip-poor-will, Red-headed Woodpecker, Alder Flycatcher, and Henslow's Sparrow.

TRIP MINIMUM: In order for this field trip to run, we must have a miniumum of 6 participants. In the event that the field trip does not run, you will receive a refund.

A waiver for Covid 19 is included in the registration process and the following protocols will be in place in order to have a safe walk for all involved:

1. Must register in advance, no touch check-in at start of field trip

2. Masks are not required for those who are fully vaccinated

3. We ask that if you have been exposed to anyone with Covid 19 or are feeling unwell to please stay home

4. Binoculars will be available to use, but must be requested during registration
