OACC Spring 2012 Fundraiser: Transforming Lives Through Asian Pacific Arts
Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (PDT)
“Adversity is a fact of life. It can’t be controlled. What we can control is how we react to it.” – Unknown
We as non-profit organizations have faced an increasing number of challenges in these tough economic times. The climate has tested our ability to be resourceful, work together as a community, and ultimately has reinforced our commitment to “build vibrant communities through Asian and Pacific Islander American (APIA) arts and culture programs that foster intergenerational and cross-cultural dialogue, cultural identity, collaborations, and social justice.” With our commitment stronger than ever we would like to take the time to thank those who have been champions for the OACC as well as the entire arts and culture family.
What a better way to celebrate Asian American Heritage Month than by rallying supporters and mobilizing our social and political momentum for the future.
Please join us in paying tribute to those individuals and organizations who have led the way in impacting the lives of so many in the Asian Pacific Islander American Community.
Arts Donor: Edward W. Chin
