Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems can help building owners and facility managers generate electricity, save money and ensure the delivery of critical services in the event of a grid outage. Attend NYSERDA’s CHP event in Utica/Rome to learn about CHP and the financial/technical support available for the installation of CHP systems. See how buildings can count on CHP systems to:
• Generate electricity every day of the year
• Save money
• Protect the environment
• Operate when the grid goes down
• Provide enhanced reliability over diesel standby generators
An introductory presentation on CHP technology from NYSERDA will be followed by an expo where attendees can connect with pre-approved equipment vendors and ask questions about how their facilities can benefit from this technology.
There will also be tours of the Rome Memorial Hospital CHP plant. There is no charge for the tour and shuttle buses to the hospital will be provided. Sign-ups for the tours will happen the day of the event.
Attendees only need to register for the morning or the afternoon session. The two sessions will be identical.
