#GetOutToRun with New York Road Runners at an NYRR Prospect Park Running History Tour, presented in partnership with Prospect Park Alliance. Starting from the historic Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Arch at Grand Army Plaza and finishing at Bartel-Pritchard Square, you’ll be led by one of the NYRR Group Training coaches past several historical spots in Prospect Park, including the Dongan Oak Marker and Harry's Wall. Experience the park’s deep history at a comfortable (~10:00 min/mile) pace that’ll allow for plenty of photo opps and questions along the 2.5-mile route. Please meet us directly under the arch at Grand Army Plaza.
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your order or email programming@nyrr.org to cancel. Please note: This is not a training run; we will be making frequent stops along the tour.
If you are unable to make the in-person tour, you can learn more about the park and other great running spots throughout the five boroughs with NYRR Running Routes!
