NYI FALL RETREAT

NYI Fall Retreat is back and better than ever!

It has been almost a year time since we took over the camp and gathered there for the weekend. No Parents. No Teachers. Just teens and leaders (young and old) who love you enough to give up the comfort of their beds to crash in a smelly cabin on a bunk bed.

*Editors Note* Smell tends to be directly related to the Jr High age group. Showers are available daily and are encouraged! Sr High rooms tend to smell of cheap cologne and/or perfume and overpriced hairspray and/or hair wax.

Your youth leaders have been to dozens of these retreats in the past so any further questions, ask them. One thing is for sure though and that is you are gonna have a blast!

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This event is for youth in Grade 7 through Grade 12.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is plenty of free parking available at the camp. We encourage your youth leaders in your local church to make transportation arrangements. We are unable (until time travel is invented) to offer rides to the camp. If this is an issue, please contact us and we can see if there is a church in your area with whom you can carpool.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Please bring the following

Sleeping Bag - Pillow - Sheets (single)

Personal Hygiene Items

Bible - Notebook - Pen/Pencil

Clothes to get dirty/wet in (outdoor games and lots of sports options available this year)

Anything else (within reason) you will need to enjoy a weekend at the camp.

PLEASE DON'T BRING

Expensive jewellery or items of great value

Drugs, Alcohol and/or Tobacco

Firearms and/or weapons

Fireworks, Firecrackers or other things that can cause explosions

Anything that if lost, you would be heartbroken.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes. It makes our lives alot easier if this person is the same gender as you and in your youth group. We will be booking rooms ahead of time so please notify us if you need to transfer your registration. It is your responsibility however to make payment arrangements if the registration is already paid for.

Can I update my registration information?

Unless you are getting married, there is not much need to update info. If there is something however you think we have missed, you can contact us at cancentralnyi@gmail.com and we can change it on our end.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It would be awesome if you could! However, if you are like us, the anticipation of a great weekend may result in you forgetting the form at home. Don't worry about it! We will have electronic copies of the form available with all your info on it.

What is the refund policy?

Because of the various methods of payment, it is really hard to refund money. In cases of extreme emergencies, refunds will be made available. These however will not be mailed out until 2 weeks following the event.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Perfectly fine! Just let us know when you get to the retreat, Things change. Just let us know!
