Names whispered with the reverence reserved for saints and sinners, artists who find themselves willingly crammed into this intimate haven where the only thing that matters is taste, lineage, and the unbroken bloodline of disco and house. Not just another club, Compact Disco is a venue where your favorite Djs come to hear THEIR favorite DJs. Legends play here and the biggest come to play on this special night.

This year, Dirtybird’s own high priestess of the dance floor, Victoria Rawlins, takes the helm. A selector with the kind of gravitational pull that bends the night around her, Rawlins brings the swagger of underground Los Angeles and the silk-gloved punch of a true dance-floor architect. She’ll be flanked by three of Compact Disco’s most beloved residents, She Lost Control, Loloh & Ed.E : each of whom has carved out their own myth in this low-lit temple by the sea.

There’s a one-hour open bar from 8 to 9 p.m., a pre-game baptism for the faithful. And in a gesture almost outrageous in its generosity, like a wink across the bar from a friend who knows better, this year’s tickets are the lowest they’ve ever been: $30 pre-sale, $40 at the door.
