*Don't worry, we will still have our guest list for our other 51 parties in 2014. :)

Here's the deal:

Housepitality has been throwing a Wednesday weekly party for over 3 years now. We've been the place to be in SF on Wednesday nights for those who like house music, techno, and disco.

We're an industry party that's open to the public; an underground party thrown at a club; a little slice of community for the true partiers among us; and a place we can go week after week...

And since Wednesday falls on New Years Day this year, we've decided to claim our day, and go all-out with the most ambitious party we've ever thrown: a 22-hour New Years Day party that begins at 6am and ends... well... once it's over. We've booked two headliners, one of which will allow our crowd to see a master DJ play a 4-hour set in the most intimate of atmospheres, and another of which is an acknowledged master of minimal acid and techno, here to play exclusively for us.

Along with these two amazing headliners, we've booked the best local talent that the packed San Francisco scene can provide, making sure that our favorite local DJs and our residents are represented (and of course, making sure that we have the absolute BEST and most amazing artists to hang out with on this holiday).

We know that NYD is a busy and competitive day for parties. However, we also know that our Housepitality community is filled with the most amazingly tasteful people, folks who know how to party and know what they like... we want to party with those people, and so we've created an over-the-top, yet affordable party, one that will go ALL DAY so that we can see those who have other plans.

Cheap wristbands will allow INS-&-OUTS ALL DAY LONG, so that our dancers can come and go as they please, allowing them to catch whatever DJs are most important to them, and to allow for maximum flexibility in their NYD plans. We will also offer FREE DISCO BREAKFAST, and 1 GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE for each guest.

We start at 6am... we end sometime around 3 or 4am on January 2nd... and we can't wait to party with you.

This year NYD falls on a Wednesday, and guess what: just like always,

Doc Martin’s live sets truly bring people together. The variation in his style of music is endless. What makes him so different from the rest? A unique ability to spin everything from deep house vocals that have much depth and meaning to us all in some way, to his funky tribal Bass lines mixed with threads of acid, his passive collection of classics rare records that are only to be heard at his gigs. Doc Martin has developed the respect as a house DJ that so many of us admire. It is this respect that keeps him constantly touring; from New York to London, Japan, and everywhere in between.

Jesse Siminski, aka HEARTTHROB was born in 1976 in Northern Michigan. He discovered dance music through a musician father and relative who owned a record store. Early Prince, Kraftwerk's 'Tour de France' and Laid Back's 'White Horse' were three of Jesse's childhood favorites. As a teen in the early nineties, he discovered the Midwest Rave scene, traveling to Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis and Milwaukee to hear the unique sounds of the area. This is where he first hear and connected with the music of Richie Hawtin, Drop Bass Network and Communique Records-pioneer of minimal acid and techno. Their dynamic and challenging aesthetic had an impact. Shortly after Jesse became determined to make his own music and started collecting gear and records. In 1999 Jesse moved to New York City where he continued to experiment with music as well as contemporary art. New York's small minimal scene brought him to Magda and Troy Pierce, who would become friends and sources of inspiration (musical and otherwise). Shortly after, Richie Hawtin moved into the neighborhood and a friendship with the Minus family was established. The first public exposure of his music was during Magda's seminal DJ set at Mutek 2003.

Jesse uses his productions to explore the intersection where tradition and innovation cross as much as aesthetics and concepts. Where the ideal is function and entertainment as well as experimentation and emotion. This is best demonstrated on his 2008 album 'Dear Painter, Paint Me'.

Jesse now lives in Berlin and is working full-time on music production and live performance.

NIKITA is a DJ's DJ, a rare soul who truly understands his role in the DJ booth. Performing anywhere from two to twelve hour sets, NIKITA weaves music into fantastic journeys of rhythm and sound. NIKITA's ability to contrast the harder elements of techno with the soulful sensuality of deep house has garnered him accolades from some of the world's best DJs and allowed him the rare opportunity to tag team alongside the likes of Lee Burridge, Cassy and Derek Plaslaiko. Indeed, NIKITA has played with a Who's Who of international talent, including Danny Howells, Steve Lawler, Craig Richards, Steve Bug, Damian Lazurus, M.A.N.D.Y. and many, many more. With additional inspiration coming from friends such as Ms. Honey Dijon, Tedd Patterson and Danny Tenaglia, it comes as no wonder why NIKITA's story is one of a dream come true.

San Francisco-based Atish is rising quickly in the international dance music scene. Raised in the Chicago suburbs and schooled in the hard sciences to become a computer engineer, Atish's left-brained technical precision complement his sensitive, emotional approach to sound. His musical career started at age five as a classically trained violinist. Since, he's taken on other instruments including trombone, tuba, guitar, drums, and bass, and over the years, he's played in jazz, rock, and marching bands, even enjoying a stint in hip-hop production. This all led to his true love, the art of DJing.

Atish describes his style as expressive melodic deep house: music that sings to the soul while moving the dance floor, communicating the joy of love, the depths of darkness, and intensity of a spiritual dance music journey for himself and anyone listening. Energized by the relationship between DJ and dancefloor, Atish is known for his quirky stage persona, donning costumes, wigs, and even a wedding dress during gigs. But don't let the free wheeling expression fool you - Atish is a disciplined artist with an unhealthy obsession for technical and artistic perfection.

DF Tram is an enigmatic dj and producer from San Francisco who is highly regarded in the North American underground electronic music scene .Known for his unique style of mixing and producing ,his chill dj sets are second to none as far as innovation is concerned. When not behind the decks DF Tram is busy creating beautiful and thought-provoking music with projects like The Sound Capsule, Jump/Cut and also as a member of The Ambi-Sonic Collective .You can catch his weird and wonderful sound at one of his regular gigs in the bay area or in clubs and festivals around the world. DF Tram has played at some of the best electronic music venues in the world such as “the big chill” festival (uk) ,"Niceto" in (buenos aires, argentina),”chillits” (sf) and much more. DF Tram was also nominated for a dj award in the downtempo/eclectic category at the ibiza dj awards 2008.
