11:15am: Module 2 - Developing an AI Deployment Strategy (90 min)

Led by Alim William and Marta Moreno

  • Technical Landscape
  • AI technology maturity cycles - Computer vision, NLP, Voice
  • Application maturity cycles in industry’s - Healthcare, Finance, and others
  • Deploying AI products in the real world - setting timelines, expectations, deliverables
  • Organizing teams internally to manage AI products
  • Build vs. Buy - when is each strategy the right one

12:50pm - 1:50pm: Lunch (Bring Your Own or dine nearby)

2pm: Module 3 - Ethics in AI solutions (90 min)

  • Ethical and/or legal constraints in the collection and sharing of data according to a framework of audience’s choice
  • How to implement a computer program that applies anonymization and privacy techniques to a dataset, and explain the tradeoffs with utility.
  • Differences between various interpretations of algorithmic fairness, and relate these interpretations to the points of view of different stakeholders.

3:30pm: 15 min break

3:45pm: Module 4 - Roundtable discussion with participants (90 min)
