About this Event

Series Overview

The series draws from the ideas presented in the Action Planning and Implementation Guide developed by the NYC Peer and Community Health Worker Workforce Consortium. While developed in NYC, the information applies to organizations anywhere that are involved in the integration of a peer support workforce. The full series offers guidance on the transition from assessing organizational strengths and needs to collaboratively developing and implementing a measurable, action-oriented plan to address identified areas for improvement.

Session 4: How did it go? Evaluation of your Implementation

This session discusses methods for evaluating progress towards organizational goals and on applying concepts of Continuous Quality Improvement in the implementation process. It defines and differentiates between measurement of implementation processes and measurement of implementation outcomes.

Participants will be able to:

  1. Understand, and apply concepts of, Continuous Quality Improvement to their next steps in implementation.
  2. Distinguish between process measures and outcome measures.
  3. Recognize ways to gather and respond to data over time.
  4. Ensure a strengths-based response to review of data.
