Event description

Description

** We recommend but don’t require, attending as part of a team. See note below for more information. **

Teams are being asked to apply AI/ML techniques to their work without really understanding how it is different for nondeterministic systems. Without human purpose, a computer is just a rock that we tricked into thinking, even if we add AI/ML to it. We will take you and your team from problem to plan in one workshop. All functionalities (engineers, designers, product people, execs) are all welcome and encouraged to participate. The ideal group size is up to six otherwise, we will suggest breaking them up into different groups.

How is this workshop relevant to emerging media and technology audiences?
Any team that is working on hard, meaningful, and purpose-driven problems could benefit from AI/ML, but without the right focus you may end up building toys. This is for product teams, big data teams, analytics teams, or any other team that is being asked to ‘find something interesting.’

What do you hope participants will learn in this workshop?
Various Design Thinking tools, techniques, and workshops to quickly converge on experiments using AI/ML that will positively impact their business.

Team requirements
We are looking for multiple attendees (3-5) from the same organization or project. We recommend teammates from various functions including management/exec, product, design, engineering, data scientist, etc.

If you don't have a team or organization to attend with we will have a project made up
