IGDA NYC and Playcrafting NYC are teaming up again to present the third annual NYC Games & Digital Media Career Fair at Microsoft in Times Square. We're bringing together employers and job-seekers at this one-day event showcasing the exciting opportunities and diverse talent pool in the local game development and digital media industries.
Meet with employers and recruiters looking to hire.
Local companies are seeking talent for exciting opportunities in game development, digital media, technology, and VR.
Participating companies to be announced closer to the event. Watch this space!
Discover education, networking, and professional resources in the community.
Local schools, companies, and groups will be on hand to meet attendees and share information about their organizations and services for job-seekers and entrepreneurs in New York's game development community.
Check back for a list of participating organizations!
Get personalized job search feedback in one-on-one reviews.
We'll have a team of experts available for one-on-one sessions with job-seekers to answer questions, review your resume, portfolio, or code, and conduct mock interviews. Sign up onsite with one of our volunteers specializing in art, programming, design, production, music/audio, writing, or QA, and get some expert advice, help polishing your application materials, or a chance to brush up on your interview skills.
Make friends and expand your network at our afterparty event.
After the fair wraps up, we'll adjourn to Iron Bar & Lounge at 713 8th Ave (at W. 45th St), where participants can mingle and make connections over food and drinks.
Note that this year we are not registering tickets for the afterparty—just show up!
The career fair will run from noon to 6pm, and the mixer will start at 6 and run until 9pm. In order to accomodate more attendees and make better use of the space, we're registering tickets in separate time slots.
When registering, select only ONE entry time. If you plan to stay longer, you only need to select the earliest time you plan to arrive.
You must be on the guest list and show photo ID to get past building security, so please register using the full name that matches the one on your ID. Unregistered guests will not be permitted to enter.
