Event description

Description

Join us as we sit down with Anjali Kumar, Co-Founder of The Justice Dept!

Anjali Kumar is an acclaimed author, attorney, advisor, speaker, and she is on a continual quest.

Described as an “idea acupuncturist,” Anjali seeks different points of view in unexpected places. Her widely-recognized book and 2017 TED Talk detail her search to discover the meaning of life, from the mountains of Peru to the Burning Man desert, to visitations with healers, saints, and more. And while that quest may continue, Kumar has added on a new venture — having launched the women-led Justice Dept, a firm that helps women receive equal treatment and fair pay in the workplace.

Join us for our next chat with Anjali Kumar, where our theme will be focused on CHALLENGE. We’ll dig into the challenges and lessons Anjali has faced on her journey, and what advice she has for each of us.

About Anjali Kumar

In November 2017 she spoke at TEDWomen. Her “beautiful inspiring, and funny” talk “My Failed Mission To Find God - And What I Found Instead”, based on her book Stalking God: My Unorthodox Search For Something To Believe In (Hachette 2018), has been watched by over 3 million people around the world and translated into over twenty languages.

Anjali has taught for several years as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School and Fordham University. She has served as an advisor to prominent technology companies, luxury fashion brands, consumer products, and non-profit organizations including Malala Fund and IDEO.org.
