New York City artists join forces to perform in Defeat the Street, a philanthropic variety show including original short plays, spoken word, dancing, singing, music, and other artistic surprises. All ticket sales will be donated to the Coalition for the Homeless, NYC.

There are many factors that contribute to homelessness, including mental illness, unemployment, and extreme poverty. Through the art of live performance, we aim to raise awareness of these causes, along with the struggles the homeless face on a daily basis.
