The 205 Hicks Street building in Brooklyn, a pre-war multifamily structure built in 1919, features six floors and 22 residential units. It is working towards achieving LL97 compliance by 2030. Currently, it faces estimated penalties of $0 in 2024 and $13,400 in 2030. The building is undergoing significant upgrades, including replacing a 50-year-old boiler with new heat pumps in each unit and a heat pump hot water heater for the entire building. The building was also featured in THE CITY.
