NY Adventure Club Presents: UrbExpo 2018
Event Information
Description
50 artists, five curators, and one 1870s gothic courthouse-turned-library await.
Join New York Adventure Club for our third annual UrbExpo — a pop-up art exhibit documenting the subcultures of urban exploration through the eyes of artists and curators, from Philly to Paris, who present distinctly different angles on what it means to explore a city.
Explore over a hundred pieces of affordable and eclectic art, live music & art-making, and video installations inside the dimly-lit gothic rooms of the Jefferson Market Library, a New York Public Library branch inside a 141-year-old former courthouse.
Call it an investigation of city subculture, an interpretation of urban life, or an UrbEx showcase. Either way, take a moment to enjoy this creative break from the norm. Bring your flashlight, an open mind, and a few dollars if you want to take home a piece of art. One night only.
