NxLeveL Micro Entrepreneurs (Start Ups-3 years)
The NxLevel Micro Entrepreneur is training that prepares entrepreneurs to compete, win, and survive. It is designed for businesses with less than 5 employees. Participants learn how to choose a business idea, develop a business plan, develop a marketing plan, understand market analyses, explore financing options, assess risk management, develop a customer’s service philosophy, as well as other relevant entrepreneurial skills. The City of Columbia partnered with the Benedict College Business Development Center to ensure that experienced entrepreneurs, with actual experience, provide practical training.
How much does NxLeveL Micro Entrepreneurs course cost? The cost for NxLevel is $350.00. However, the City of Columbia will pay $200 of the cost. Participants will only have to pay $150 for registration and books.
Course Duration: January 19, 2017 – March 30, 2017. When you submit this application for the NxLevel Micro Entrepreneur course, you are making a commitment to attend all sessions (approximately 45 classroom hours) and to complete all course prep-work. Classes are from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. every Thursday.
