Universal Endpoint Management and Application Delivery in the Cross-Platform Ecosystem

“Universal endpoint management” is something sysadmins talk about in strategic terms – but what about the tactical, day-to-day operations necessary to keep the “Lights On, Doors Open” (LODO?)

In this presentation, Parallels will discuss the day-to-day challenges sysadmins admins face when:

Deploying software and images to the Macs on the network

Distributing software/OS patches to unprotected “breachable” Macs

Incorporating IBCM, Apple VPP and MDM Daily though their SCCM console.

But Macs are only PART of the day-to-day challenge. In the modern workplace, sysadmins support apps that need to work on Windows, Macs, iPhones, Android and everything in between. To sysadmins, “cross-platform” isn’t a marketing term – it’s a way of life cycle management. How do sysadmins manage the apps – and the user experience of those apps – for end-users on ALL those platforms? We’ll show how many Sysadmins have empowered their orgs to meet all the application needs of their end-users with a single “desktop” interface.

At the end our presentation two (2) NWSCUG members will be chosen as recipients of the following:

• NFR* – 50 User Licenses for Parallels Mac Management– 1 YR Production Version ($2500 MSRP)

• NFR* – 25 User Licenses for Parallels Remote Application Server – 1 Yr Production Version ($2500 MSRP)

*Not for Resale - Full Licensed Version of Commercial Software

Aman is the Program Manager responsible for security, privacy, accessibility, the admin console, RBAC, among other things in ConfigMgr. He has been with the team for a year and in his spare time he enjoys exploring Seattle and discovering all the Pacific Northwest has to offer!

Using CMPivot in the Real world – Rudy Bankson (NWSCUG Member!)

What is CMPivot and why should I care about it? Since the beginning of client management, SMS has been referred to as Slow Moving Software. Join us to talk about one of the fastest moving things in modern ConfigMgr history and learn how to use it to get real-time actionable data.
