Nutrition for Older Adults
Thu, May 25, 2017, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM EDT
Heather E. Wolfe, RD
Older adults have unique nutritional needs. Calorie needs decrease as we age, yet we require more nutrients to stay healthy. Choosing healthy foods and fluids is especially important at this stage of life, and may become more challenging. Often disease, disability, dentition, depression, death of loved ones and other conditions and life situations make it harder to know how to nourish ourselves. Join us for a discussion of healthy eating as we age.
