Nuci Nebieridze was born in Georgia/Tbilisi, in family of artists. She graduated seven year classical piano school in childhood and then was getting additional piano lessons one year, playing and singing songs. When she have finished the secondary school, she enrolled in Academy Of Arts, major – film/painting in 2005 with 100% scholarship. She has done some projects and diploma. Though she was singing all the time, after graduation of Academy Of Art with bachelor degree in 2009, she pursued music, and painting kept as a hobby.
In 2010 Nuci got enrolled in Tbilisi State Conservatoire, major – jazz/vocal with 100% scholarship. She graduated in 2013 and was considered as a most diligent and assiduous student.
Since 2010 she was performing in numerous concerts and stages; working with different bands and recording sessions.
In 2011 had a concert in United Kingdom/Edinburgh/Glasgow: duo with Scottish musician/guitarist in “Café Cossacchok”.
In Georgia/Tbilisi: Had been a soloist of Jazz/Pop band two years. Performed as a soloist with this band on solo concert in Tbilisi Conservatoire hall, in 2013. Performed in Georgian Musical Festival “Art Gene” in 2013. Repertoire: original music/jazz standards/covers/soul/blues/funk/ethno/afro; contemporary jazz/influenced also by psychedelic/alternative rock.
In 2014 she had performances in Germany/Hamburg/Lübeck – Collaborated with German musicians, has done two concerts and recording sessions. 2014. Repertoire: Jazz/Standards.
Nuci has three year experience as a backing vocalist and soloist in big band. (Since 2011) Performed on Solo concerts at“Tbilisi Event hall”, “Black Sea Jazz Festival”,“Tbilisi Open Air”. Repertoire: Funk/Soul/Pop.
She has participated in TV Shows/Competitions in Georgia –
Since 2014 Nuci was struggling to arrive in New York as she was enrolled in “The New School For Jazz And Contemporary Music” three times, but unfortunately she had got two time refusals from Consulate during this time and couldn’t arrive and study.
In August 2016 she got the visa eventually and nowadays she is a current student in The New School, majoring jazz/vocal.
