Ms. Monica Diaz
Monica Diaz is a Leader of Global Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Management and Organizational Development. She has extensive experience in Human Resources, with expertise in corporate culture transformation, leadership and the development of high performing teams.
Monica joined Microsoft in 2009, with senior leadership expertise in global diversity and inclusion, global talent management and organizational development, applied in Pharmaceutical, Apparel and Staffing industries.
As Global Diversity & Inclusion Director at Microsoft, Monica leads global enterprise initiatives across Business Groups to strengthen diversity and inclusion, enhance market innovation and develop strategies to maximize internal and external relationships for Microsoft.
Monica holds MA in Industrial / Organizational Psychology and BA in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico. She is a Board member of Madrinas and Council member of The Conference Board.
Mr. Bill Gonzalez
Bill Gonzalez is Sr. Director International Retail Strategy for Microsoft. Bill evaluates & prioritizes the countries for store expansion as well as developing and implementing the framework for market entry. Bill works across all of Microsoft's retail divisions as well as global subsidiaries to ensure Microsoft is prepared for each new International market they enter.
Previously, Bill was the GM of Worldwide Distribution and Services Sector at Microsoft. He has more than 20 years of experience in the distribution and services industries including retail and hospitality. His experience spans software development and business process, as well as all aspects of IT and sales. Before joining Microsoft in August 2007, Bill held executive positions in the IT organization at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. for 11 years. Before joining Wal-Mart, he held executive sales and marketing positions at NCR Corp. for 10 years.
Bill is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, was born in Chile, and is a Canadian citizen. Bill and his family reside in the Seattle area where he enjoys golf and photography and is an avid reader.
Mr. Nyle Miyamoto
Nyle Miyamoto is currently the Director of Engineering Operations & Process Management for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA). Since joining The Boeing Company in 1990 as a structural engineer, he has progressed through numerous technical and leadership roles. Throughout his career, Nyle has been an active champion of excellence by mentoring students and professionals and promoting diversity of ideas, talents, and experiences in the workplace.
Nyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from theUniversityofWashingtonand a Masters of Engineering Management fromWashingtonStateUniversity. In his spare time, he enjoys mentoring, fishing, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with his family.
