Title: Integrating Exercise into Health Care: Innovative strategies to engage practitioners and patients
Presenter: : Jonathon Fowles, PhD, Professor, Acadia University; Chair, Exercise is Medicine Canada National Advisory Council; Scientific Lead, Exercise is Medicine Nova Scotia
Dr. Fowles will provide evidence-based information and insights regarding the application of exercise in health care. He will discuss the strategies to integrate brief and effective physical activity counseling into clinical practice and identify the opportunities to build collaborative processes in health care and communities to support for patients in getting exercise as medicine.
