Event description

Description

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and the Small Business Tech Transfer (STTR) programs provide early-stage research funding for companies looking to commercialize science-based intellectual property. If you are interested in submitting an SBIR/STTR application, come to this workshop to discuss how to get started, learn about SBIR/STTR support programs in the area, or to schedule a time for Dr. Ellen Brune to review your grant drafts. The seminar is led by Dr. Ellen Brune, liaison for economic development for the U of A-Startup Junkie Science Venture Primer Partnership.

The Science Venture Primer Partnership will broaden the programming and resources available to faculty and graduate students to amplify the economic and social impacts of university research and innovation.
