NRHI Annual Affordability Summit - Live Stream

About this Event

Note: this listing is for the live stream of the summit.

Everyday we hear about the impact that rising healthcare costs have on the nation, communities, and individuals. For example, a recent survey indicated that 44% of Americans didn’t see a physician last year when they were sick or injured due to high healthcare costs. NRHI’s first National Affordability Summit explored the question of why healthcare costs so much and what we can do about it. This event will dig deeper – exploring how three key issues − health, price, & waste − influence the affordability of healthcare. We will highlight regional success stories from those who are working to impact affordability in their markets.

Dr. Stuart Altman, Sol C. Chaikin Professor of National Health Policy at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University, will be the keynote speaker. Dr. Altman is an economist with five decades of experience working closely on the issues of federal and state health policy within government, the private sector, and academia.

Review the full agenda. Additional speakers and panelists to be announced soon.

Ticket costs include access to a suite of post-event materials, including video recordings and presentations. Live stream tickets for NRHI members are $150 plus processing fees. Tickets for non-NRHI members are $375 plus processing fees.

The HealthDoers Network is an initiative of the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement and is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
