NRA Basic Rifle Course

This is a basic introductory rifle course designed for the beginner / first-time rifle shooter. This course will be held in the ASC Clubhouse on Saturday, June 24th from 8am till 4pm. There will be a live-fire practical held on the Training Range.

Course material will include: Rifle Knowledge, Safe Gun Handling, Ammunition Knowledge, Fundamentals of Rifle Shooting, Firing the First Shots, Scoring Targets, Selecting and Maintaining a Rifle, Opportunities for Skill Development, Kneeling, Sitting and Prone Positions

The ASC will provide rifles and ammunition.  This event is open to all members in good standing.  Participants must have their active Club Badge.

Cancellation/No-show Policy:  If you sign up and then decide not to attend, you must go back to the EventBrite site and cancel your registration at least 5 days prior to the event date. You will be invoiced a $25/person "No Show" fee if you fail to cancel.

To cancel a registration:

1. Go to the EventBrite site and log in (www.eventbrite.com). 2. Click on the "My Tickets" link. 3. Click the "View Order" button for the class you want to cancel. 4. Click the "Cancel Order" button and confirm.
