NPC Luncheon with Ben Jealous, President, NAACP

NAACP President and CEO, Ben Jealous, will address members and guests at a National Press Club luncheon on Thursday, August 29. The NAACP, which was founded in 1909, is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. Jealous will share with attendees his thoughts on the Trayvon Martin case, the "stand your ground" law and how the young man's death serves as a rallying point for change.
Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $21 for Press Club members (NPC Members may purchase 2 tickets at this rate) and $35 for all other non-member tickets.

You must have a paid reservation to the Luncheon to attend the VIP reception.
