Join Film Fatales members from around the world for an end-of-year virtual fundraiser and networking mixer open to members and allies alike!

On the last day of our Now More Than Ever crowdfunding campaign, we will gather together to celebrate the strength and tenacity of our filmmaker community. Raise a glass and reconnect with like-minded filmmakers to lift our spirits and create stronger connections as we look forward to brighter days ahead. We will begin with a guided conversation before dividing up into smaller discussion circles for meaningful discussions based on a series of prompts. We will close out the evening with a mindful intention setting exercise for the new year.

Directors, actors, cinematographers, composers, producers…all are welcome!

This year has been exceptionally challenging for arts non-profits like Film Fatales. We lost a significant source of funding when our NEA grant was abruptly. Corporations are quietly shuttering initiatives supporting underrepresented voices and pulling back from sponsorships and partnerships with organizations devoted to that work.

That’s why we need your help. Your tax-deductible donation will help us sustain our efforts in breaking down systemic inequities in the film industry and creating tangible change in a time when the world needs our stories the most. Thanks fo the support!

Upon arrival at this private networking mixer you will be placed in a waiting room until the event begins. Plan to log in a few minutes early to check your tech to make sure you don’t miss anything. Please mute your audio and adjust the lighting in your space so other participants can see your face.

We are committed to creating a safe space where filmmakers can gather and support one another. Please conduct yourself as if you were at an in-person professional networking event. Be respectful to other participants. Do not screenshot, record, or take notes without consent. Avoid assuming people’s needs, gender identities, and/or backgrounds. Creating an inclusive space requires acknowledging existing power dynamics. If you are from a dominant or privileged identity please practice making space, through listening, unseating yourself, and passing the mic.
