Event description

Description

Nov. 30, please join us for a workshop on the Business Model Canvas and stay for dinner for a Q&A with the delivery team at Table XI.

The Business Model Canvas is a tool that helps innovators think through their big idea and tell the story of how value is created for their target audience. You’ll learn the basics of the canvas and then experience the process of creating one for an innovative new idea. Afterwards, we’ll break bread (free food!) and talk about conquering the world using this new tool.

Have you ever thought about pitching an idea on Shark Tank? Ever wonder what the Sharks are thinking and why they ask the questions they do? The Business Model Canvas will help you whether you have a new idea to pitch to your investors or just want to have a better understanding of how a company makes (or loses) money.

One of the most effective ways to learn how to use a new tool is to actually use it. So during this interactive workshop, we’ll get our hands dirty and build a canvas or two together. But before we do that, we’ll deconstruct the Business Model Canvas and learn about how to use each component of the tool (so we don’t accidentally hurt ourselves during the exercise!).

When we’re done learning and building business models that will rule the world, our company chef will prepare a homemade dinner so you can mingle with our talented team of consultants and ask questions about practical use of the Business Model Canvas.
