About this Event

Please Read Before Registering

In an effort to support SMRBC’s in-person worship gathering the SMRBC Children’s Ministry will offer Sunday school for preschool age children at 9:30 am. School age children (Kindergarten and up) are encouraged to attend the worship service with their family.

Pre-registration is required. Reservations for each Sunday will be taken on a first-come, first served basis. Registration will close on Friday night. Please also note that you still need to make a reservation to attend the adult worship service.

In order to comply with the safety measures recommended by the CDC and VA Department of health, class sizes will be limited to 5 - 7 children, depending on the room size, and two to three adult volunteers. SMRBC Children’s Ministry will be serving your children on modified procedures and precautions. Please read these procedures and practices carefully before arriving on Sunday morning.

  • ONE parent must pick-up children immediately after the worship service.

COVID-19 infection control and sanitization practices in the children’s ministry area.

• Increased cleaning and sanitation will be done in the classrooms and common areas before children arrive. Bathrooms will be disinfected and wiped down after each use.

• Handwashing and/ or sanitizer will be required for all children and volunteers before entering classrooms.

• Classrooms will be limited to small groups to allow children to be spaced apart as much as can be expected. Siblings may be placed in the same classroom to reduce exposure to other children.
