Students will be divided into groups of 3-4 students and provided with paper and pencils. Students will draw a random image or object, fold the paper, and pass it to the next student who will continue the drawing. This process repeats until everyone has contributed. Then, they will do the same with writing a sentence or phrase. The groups will then use the drawings and writings as inspiration to collaboratively write a song.

Each group will choose a leader to guide the process and ensure all members have equal input.

The Cadavre Exquis Songwriting Workshop offers an engaging learning experience for young people. It encourages collaboration, active listening, and open-mindedness. The Exquisite Corpse method inspires individual creativity while allowing students to incorporate the contributions of their peers. My hope is that this workshop inspires students to continue exploring their creativity and to work collaboratively in the future."

All ages welcome.
