Description

Is your teen stressed from school? Do they need help focusing on getting their homework done? Or learning how to deal with challenging life situations?


Have them attend our Fundamentals of Mindfulness class. They'll learn tools to help reduce stress and anxiety, build stronger relationships, and increase their overall sense of well-being. Plus, it's fun and easy to learn!


The objective of the class is to introduce teens to mindfulness so they can see how it can be used as a tool to create more calm in what can be an overwhelming time in their lives.


In this 3 hour class they'll learn:

  • The difference between mindfulness and meditation
  • How to pause and respond instead of mindlessly reacting
  • Importance of the breath as an anchor
  • How to work with thoughts that arise while practicing mindfulness
  • Benefits of tuning into your body
  • Techniques for understanding and navigating emotions

At the end of class they'll have a set of tools to start developing their own mindfulness practice. They'll also leave with a set of exercises to practice what they've learned.
