Learn how to engage all students through rich activities and mathematical connections!
This 2-day, in-person workshop focuses on grades 3-5 but is appropriate for any teacher, leader or administrator in the elementary years of K-12 education. We explore the big ideas for this grade level and how to use them to teach students in an engaging way, while covering all relevant mathematical standards.
- Workshop run by Dr Jo Boaler & Cathy Williams
- Includes lunch and a light breakfast each day
- Participants receive certificate verifying 10 Professional Development Hours (1 CEU)
The nearest airports to Stanford University are San Jose (SJC) and San Francisco (SFO). The closest lodging is in Palo Alto and the surrounding communities.
PLEASE NOTE THESE IMPORTANT EXCEPTIONS TO OUR REFUND POLICY:
- We are only able to issue refunds for credit card payments, not other forms of payment
- We are only able to refund credit card payments within 180 days of the original charge
- We cannot issue a refund if the credit card used for payment has expired between the date of the original charge and the date of the refund request
If a refund is requested by October 13, 2023 and we are unable to refund the payment for one of the reasons above, we can transfer the registration to a designated person or provide a credit that can be applied to future youcubed professional development.
