Event description

Description

Join Brooklyn Arts Council's Creative Coalitions for Nou La--We Reach!, an interactive cultural exhibit at the Wyckoff House Museum. Be immersed in stories and artwork reflecting on the Caribbean migrations that have profoundly impacted Brooklyn's cultural fabric, through works from Brooklyn-based artists. Exploring themes of innovation and preservation, migration and displacement, and resistance and becoming, this exhibit draws upon the voices of the communities of Brownsville, East Flatbush, and beyond.

Exhibition is open June 16 to September 23, Fridays and Saturdays from 1-4pm.

Brooklyn Arts Council's Nou La--We Reach! program is supported by the Lincoln Center Cultural Innovation Fund, which is generously supported by the Rockefeller Foundation and administered by Lincoln Center.
