Notch 8 is a northern Nevada band playing music that blends elements of American roots music, including country, rockabilly, and folk. Notch 8's music includes original compositions along with cover songs from several different decades. What You Need to Know: Gates open at 4:00 pm. This is an outdoor concert on a grassy lawn with impressive views of Jobs Peak and the Carson Range. Children under 16 enter free-of-charge only when accompanying a ticketed adult.
Please bring your favorite lawn chair or blanket. Pop-up shades are allowed if there's no wind. Wine and beer will be available for purchase, and the Carson Valley Lions Club will be selling food and soft drinks. Or, you can bring your favorite beverage and a pre-prepared picnic of your own (cooking not allowed). The park is a Douglas County facility and is subject to all applicable rules and regulations. Please, no glass containers.
Pets are strictly prohibited. Service animals with valid certifications are the only exception.
Please car pool. Tickets are good for a single entry only (no in and out privileges). Entry by foot or bicycle is discouraged. Be aware that the entry road is unpaved and crosses a cattle pasture. The speed limit is: SLOW. If you're unable to arrive for the opening act, please wait until the break to drive down the road, as a courtesy to the performers and audience. On the road, please be patient with yourself and others, because everyone and every car move at different speeds. You can linger for a while after the concert, but everyone must be gone by 8:30 pm.
Refunds are given only if both acts are unable to perform due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstance.
