Not One More~ York Chapter 2nd Annual 5K Walk/Run For Recovery
Sat, May 6, 2017, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM EDT
Registration will begin at 8 a.m., and the event will kick off at 10 a.m. Runners will travel the course through the park; the event will conclude with refreshments and an awards ceremony. Runners will receive a free event T-shirt (while supplies last) and goodie bag.
Registration is $30 per individual; $25 per member (minimum of 5) of a registered team; $15 per recovery/sober house resident with proof of residency; free to children under 10.
If you are running as a team in Honor or Memory of someone , you may elect to have your loved one’s name listed under the “In Memory” section on the back of the event T-shirt. Team captains should email email@example.com to provide the team name and name of loved one.
If you live in a recovery house and that house has decided to start a team, use the team option. Residents will use the Recovery House Resident Team Ticket option, anyone running on that team that is not a resident will use the Recovery House Non Resident ticket option under Teams.
If you are running as a Team but are not affiliated with a recovery house or running in memory of someone , just select either team option for the $25.00 running fee and you can still create a team.
To register as a team, the team captain should select the team ticket option and create a team name and a password. After this is done, team members can select the team ticket option and sign in with the password. This will create a team page that will allow team captain to invite people to join the team. They will be taken to Eventbrite to get their tickets and participate.
When you are on the sign up page , there is a tab that says Register and shows $15-$30, you click on that and it will give the option for a Regular Ticket or say Team.
If you are on a Team you would click the team option if you are not on a team you click the other option.
Proceeds from this event will help Not One More – York Chapter to fulfill its mission to provide support and resources to those struggling with addiction and to raise awareness and provide education on the heroin epidemic we face in our community.
Please Note: Participants can pick up their race packet on race day. Finisher medals will be distributed to finishers at the conclusion of the race. Items will not be mailed to registrants.
