Not My Child: A parent's guide to exploitation, knife crime & county lines
Calling all parents and carers!
Come join us at the Cedars Upper School, Leighton Buzzard for an eye-opening event aimed at helping parents navigate the dangers of exploitation, knife crime, and county lines affecting our youth. Gain valuable insights, learn warning signs, and discover strategies to protect your children in today's challenging world.
Hear real stories: Hear lived experiences from parents whose children have sadly fallen victim to such crimes
Recognise the signs: Learn how to spot the early warning signs that your child is being exploited
Expert advice: Get practical advice on what to do if you have concerns about your child's safety
Support networks: Connect with organisations that can offer further support and guidance
This event promises to be an informative experience with a blend of insightful speeches and interactive sessions.
We have arranged for several experts and individuals with lived experiences to deliver speeches. They will share their valuable knowledge and personal stories, which we believe will offer a unique perspective and foster a deeper understanding. In addition, there will be an opportunity to browse through stalls presented by various support agencies. These stalls will provide a wealth of information and resources, and representatives from these agencies will be available to answer any questions you may have.
We believe this event will be a great chance for you to raise any concerns and engage in meaningful discussions with the experts and support agency representatives.
