The mission and purpose of NES is to equip patients with chronic gastrointestinal (GI) illness with education and resources to help them navigate life.

The Nancy and Bill Norton Patient Education Series Event: IFFGD’s Thirtieth Anniversary Edition is a free 2-day virtual event with a mix of pre-recorded videos and live hosting which will broadcast on Saturday, November 6th and Sunday, November 7th.

This free virtual 2-day event will include sessions on topics such as short bowel syndrome, heartburn and reflux, GERD, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and more. Presentations will include medical education sessions with information on pathophysiology, diagnostics, and treatments as well as open discussion panel sessions with presentations and recorded discussions from healthcare providers and patients and live Q+A with the hosts.

Bonus Virtual Program: NES Event: IFFGD’s Thirtieth Anniversary Pediatric Edition - In addition to the main NES program, a pre-recorded virtual program focusing on Pediatric GI patient needs will be released as a part of event registration.
