Event description
Join us for a tour of some of Northglenn's most fascinating homes, featuring midcentury, modern, and victorian architecture.

About this Event

In celebration of the city's 50th anniversary, the Historic Preservation Foundation will host an open-house style tour of some of the vintage homes in our community. You won't want to miss this opportunity to join in the community spirit of Northglenn, one of the Denver Metro Area's best kept secrets!

You have two options for tickets:

  • General Admission for the tour for $10
  • General Admission for the tour PLUS limited edition signed 50th anniversary art print for $20 (Art print preview below, designed by local artist Jim Stigall)

You can also purchase the print at the event for $25, but supplies will be limited!

Tour Locations include:

  • Deza Estates: A small enclave of stunning custom mid-century modern style homes built in the 1950s.
  • Northglenn's first neighborhoods, designed and constructed by Perl Mack enterprises, named “The most perfectly planned community in America” by Life Magazine in 1962.
  • Stonehocker Farmhouse, the oldest standing brick farmhouse in Adams County, and listed on the National Historic Register.

Day of the tour: The tour will begin at the Stonehocker Farmhouse, where you will receive a guide with historic facts and stories upon check-in, as well as directions to all open homes. You will be welcome to tour at your own pace. Please note that you will be asked to remove shoes or wear tour-provided booties before entering homes.

Transportation: Homes are accessible by car. A tour map will be provided, and we encourage carpooling.

Special FREE add-on: All ticketholders are invited to a Deza Estates Neighborhood Party 2:00pm-5:00pm, located in a beautifully landscaped yard designed by Living Earth Designs. At the party, you can mingle with homeowners and fellow architecture and Northglenn enthusiasts, enjoy snacks and drinks, and take in the stunning views of Denver and the front range.

Disclosure: The Northglenn 50th Anniversary Home Tour is a tour of private homes. The City of Northglenn, Northglenn Historic Preservation Foundation, and organizers are not responsible for the upkeep or maintenance of these properties, and are not liable for any injuries that might occur during the tour.
