Northern Voice 2013
Event Information
Description
Northern Voice is Canada's first weblogging social media conference!
Every year since 2005, the organizers have created an event that was inexpensive, informal, and accessible to techies and newbies alike. The goal of Northern Voice is to offer a friendly environment which is open to all who love technology. (That's you, right?) We emphasize the personal nature of the conference by encouraging people to find their voice and share their experiences online.
At Northern Voice, you may be exposed to a wide variety of subjects... because that's how the Internet rolls. Our topics typically include whatever is hot on the web. In previous years, we've had technology topics mixed up with discussions about Pinterest and feminism, about how you can have REAL friends who you only meet online and communal attempts to "save humanity" from fantastical threats through blogs and social media. Speakers range from the big names to first-time presenters with a passion to share.
And The Moose also throws a pretty kicking party.
NOTE: Tickets are refundable until May 14, 2013. After that date, all tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person upon receipt of a written request emailed to billing@northernvoice.ca.
