SLUGME is a new annual event that brings User Groups from all over the world together for an hour of togetherness and learning. Presentations are simulcast around the world from a central location, allowing user groups to interact and learn together.

Exploring Your Options: A guide to SOLIDWORKS System Options – Craig Lalumiere, Applied CAD Solutions

We will take an in-depth look at many of the SOLIDWORKS options, and what they really mean. In the session, we will talk about which checkbox’s will help create a better, more efficient and productive work environment. There will be tips on recent option additions that you should not be modeling without. In addition; we will cover some benefits to the CAD Administrators to keep consistency throughout your company.

Craig has been a CAD Administrator for most of his working career. He started out implanting and installing PDM Professional for a company in Vermont. He moved on to Applied CAD Solutions where he is administrators, installs and trains SOLIDWORKS and PDM throughout North America. He has gained knowledge in many different industries that include automotive, robotics, indusial power, military and medical equipment. He helps with all things SOLIDWORKS and PDM related and one of his favorite things to do is create templates!

In this encore of last year's wildly successful SLUGME (SolidWorks Largest User Group Meeting Ever) event, Todd Blacksher presents a fast-paced spin though dozens of live demonstrations that cover a little bit of everything: shortcuts, user interface, sheet metal, weldments, ​templates, custom properties and more!

​Todd Blacksher started using SolidWorks in 2002, earning his CSWP in 2005, and CSWE in 2015, plus another 11 certifications in between. He's worked in the fields of electronics, aviation, automation equipment, and laboratory test equipment, in addition to working as an Application Engineer for the local SolidWorks VAR.
