Event description

Description

All schools and districts have teachers that they would consider "novice" in just beginning in their career. Many of these individuals may not even have a university-based preparation. Instructional coaches, principals, district leaders, mentor teachers, and university professionals are left wondering what are the best ways to accelerate their development and ensure retention in the field. The Novice Teacher Development Conference aims to bring these individuals together to learn a set of strategies to best accelerate teacher growth, regardless of their previous experience.

Join the Teaching and Leading Initiative of Oklahoma and OU-Tulsa's PDLA program (Professional Development Leadership Academy) for a half-day of collaboration, idea-sharing, and best practices.

ACTION: Please complete your interest survey if you are registered.
