Overview

Our Northeast TN STEM Innovation Hub is overseen by the Center of Excellence in STEM Education at ETSU. Join this meeting to learn more about what we and others are doing in the region to support the next generation of STEM innovators.

Attendees will have the chance to explore the museum and fossil site, contribute to new program development, and hear about exciting initiatives related to:

  • workforce/industry partnerships & community connections with educators
  • diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM education
  • collaborations, such as pre-service teachers' showcase and coding camps
  • hands-on workshop on robotics for 6-12th grade educators (spaces limited)

Agenda

The agenda is noted below. You may choose your track on the day - no need to sign up.

The only exception to that is for Track #1 - the grades 6-12 robotics workshop. This track has limited space, and priority will be given to those who sign up in advance. If you're not sure if you're signed up for that through Qualtrics, reach out to Amie Craven (perryaa@etsu.edu). If spaces remain on the day, remaining spots may be provided on a first come, first served basis.

Who's in the Room?

Finally, we are creating a document of 1-pagers for those organizations and opportunities available from those who attend.

If you haven't already, feel free to send Amie Craven (perryaa@etsu.edu) a 1-pager for us to include in the document we will share with everyone.

Thank you for your support and participation!
