Northeast Indiana Refresher Course for Child Passenger Safety Technicians

These courses are designed to help Indiana’s certified child passenger safety technicians and instructors stay current with the most up-to-date information in the child passenger safety field, while reviewing CPS concepts and earning CEUs. This course includes a hands-on session during which time you will be able to demonstrate technical skills and have an opportunity to complete the five car seat installation scenarios required for recertification.

There is no registration fee for you to attend.

The refresher courses will be held:

• August 22nd at Elkhart County Health Department, Neff Auditorium, 608 Oakland Ave, Elkhart, IN 46516

Each course will start at 8:30 am and conclude at 5 pm, with a 45 minute lunch break. Please note that lunch will be on your own. Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in at the registration table.

At least one technician from each permanent fitting station is required to attend one of these refresher courses or the annual Indiana Injury Prevention Conference, including the conference car seat clinic, June 22-23, 2017. This course has been approved for 6 CEUs.
