Description

The conference is designed to providing continuing education to many disciplines from law enforcement and first responders to faith leaders, health professionals and counselors. Course topics include approaches related to domestic violence response, sexual assault, trauma informed care, ethics, survivor impact stories and working with diverse populations. Continuing education credits for CJAD, LMFT, LPC, LCDC, LCSW, LMSW, TDCJ-CJAD, TCOLE, and pendling CLE.

Pre-conference Event – $20  (stand alone or combine with full conference)

The Rev. Al Miles, nationally recognized expert on domestic and dating violence and child abuse awareness, will speak on the topic,  ”Divine Privilege: Understanding the Intersection of Spiritual Abuse and Domestic Violence.” on Wednesday, October 19 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m at Collin College SCC Living Legend Conference Center. Registration information to follow.

Full 2 day Conference – $150 ; Combined Pre-Conferece Event and 2 day Conference -$165

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, if you have an eventbrite account it will  allow you to edit your information up to 2 weeks before the event. After this date please email cccfvconference@jlcollincounty.org to update your registration information.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, it is not required that you bring your printed ticket to the conference, however if you have it on your phone electronically or print it, check-in will be much quicker. 

What is the refund policy?

Refunds will be addressed on a case by case basis.  Please email cccfvconference@jlcollincounty.org with your refund request.  No refunds will be given after October 1, 2016.
