The North Shore Waste Water Treatment Plant: A Design-Build Approach for Project Success: The North Shore Wastewater Treatment is a new facility being built to replace and upgrade the existing primary Lions Gate Wastewater Treatment Plant on the North Shore. This essential piece of infrastructure will serve over 250,000 residents in the districts of West and North Vancouver, the City of North Vancouver, and the Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.

James Seery, Project Director, will talk about the importance and benefits of the project, delivery approach, construction methods and the complexity of delivering a major project in close proximity to the community and industry.

Cost:

  • FREE for Students and CSCE Members
  • $10.00 for Non-CSCE Members

Itinerary:

  • Welcome and Refreshments: 5:30PM
  • Presentation followed by Q&A: 6:00PM
