Hop on board on the North Pole Limited and ride behind historic steam locomotive Baldwin No. 26 on an hour-long holiday excursion. The North Pole Limited departs four times a day from Steamtown National Historic Site, in Scranton, Pennsylvania for a round trip to the North Pole.

Enroute, enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season aboard our festive passenger cars adorned with holiday decorations while listening to popular Christmas songs. Santa will visit each family to collect each child’s Christmas wish lists . Children and adults alike are encouraged to indulge in the spirit of the season by wearing pajamas and settling in for a relaxing ride with family and friends.

This joyous event will surely become a cherished holiday tradition for your entire family.

Infants 0-2 years old ride free, provided they will be held in the lap of an accompanying adult or child ticket holder.

If tickets for this trip of the North Pole Limited are sold out, additional trains will be running at 10:00, 12:00, 1:30, 3:00 on Sunday 12/8/19 , Saturday 12/14/19, and Sunday 12/15/19. Check The Iron Horse Society website or Eventbrite for additional ticket availability.

Proceeds from ticket sales will support The Iron Horse Society, a 501c3 non-profit in its mission to promote the knowledge, education, and preservation of railroad heritage at Steamtown National Historic Site for generations to come.
